| 2. What does the 'Exact Match' of the Search function mean? | As the word itself implies, this option in the search results looks out for (word to word - precise) matches only. Eg: If a user searches for part no. 22210CCW33C3 in Exact match, it will display the results for precisely that part number being present throughout the database. |
| 3. What does the 'Contains' tool of the Search function mean? | This function of the search will list all the options(bearings) that contains a part of the keyword being searched. Eg: When a user searches for 22210 along with the Contains criteria, the results will display all the options of 22210 like 22210ccw33, 22210cckw33, 22210mbw33. It would also display parts like cmw22210or cmw22210zml. |
| 4. What does the 'Starts With' tool of Search function mean? | This option will take into consideration the keyword and list all the options starting with that particular part or number. E.g: If a user searches for part no. 2210 with "Starts With" criteria then the result would be all the part numbers where the display results in 2210cm, 2210ccww33 and so on. |
| 5. What do you mean by Advanced Search ? | This tool helps to limit/refine the search to specific country and/or region. By using the advanced search key functionality you would be able to restrict the output of your result to specific set of items within your region or geography. |

| 10. What does the icon ( ) of the items added in the last 24 hrs indicate? | As the name itself suggests, it displays the number of items added in the last 24 hours on the respective page. |
| 11. What is difference between the Basic and Advanced search? | Advanced search includes the filters of Country and Region also, while the Basic search does not include the same. |
| 12. How does the Export functionality in the Search module work ? | For the ease of the user, all the search results can be exported in .csv format to refer the same offline. |
| 13. When should I use 'Exact match', 'Contains' and 'Begins With' in search? | Take for example, the user wants to search for bearing 22210 with no further specification given on ccw33 or mbw33. Then the user can search using the Starts with or Contains. But in this case the user cannot use Exact match . For the case when the user wants 22210ccw33c3 only then he has to use the Exact match option and will not get desired results with contains or begins with. In the above case if 22210ccw33c4 will also work then the user can perform the search with 'begins with' and hence both c3 and c4 if present in the inventory will be displayed. |
